August 8: Summer Session 2 only, and Combined enrollment in Summer Session 1 and 2 Financial Aid Unit Freeze
August 10: Combined enrollment in Summer Session 1 and 2 earned 100% Federal Financial Aid
August 24: Summer Session 2 only earned 100% Federal Financial Aid
September 1: Office Closed: Labor Day
September 6: Summer Session 2 instruction ends
Fall 2025
September 16: Financial Aid begins disbursing to student billing accounts
September 24: Fall 2025 Registration Fee Payment Deadline

Summer Session 2025 Financial Aid: For information on all that is Summer financial aid related visit Summer Session.
2025-26 Cal Grants eligibility confirmation is scheduled to begin the middle of August. Once begun, please allow up to 2 weeks for any updates to show on your 2025-26 financial aid portal on TritonLink.
Cal Grant eligible but no Cal Grant on Tritonlink? Log into Webgrants 4 Students to confirm or change your school of attendance to UC San Diego (school code 001317). Be sure to complete any verifications or forms that are outstanding to ensure timely disbursement of your grant.
2025-26 Special Circumstances appeals for Cost of Attendance and Student Aid Index (SAI) Financial Aid are now available. Initial appeal review will begin late August/early September.
2025-26 FAFSA and CADAA applications. While April 2, 2025 was the 2025-26 priority filing deadline for eligible students for state and institutional financial aid consideration, we still encourage eligible students to file for 2025-26 federal aid.
